JackBit / Terms and conditions for New Zealand
Terms and conditions for New Zealand
A plain-language overview of the key rules on every JackBit account, written for players in New Zealand. The full terms in the site footer and in your account are the binding version.
About these terms
This page gives an overview of the rules covering accounts, bonuses, rakeback, payments and the use of this website, and it should take only a few minutes to get through. The complete Terms and Conditions, the Sportsbook Terms, the KYC Policy, the Refund Policy and the Dispute Resolution page are all linked from the casino footer, and together they make up the binding agreement between you and JackBit. If this overview and the full terms ever disagree, the full terms win. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version takes priority.
JackBit is run by Data Link Digital B.V., registered in Curaçao under company number 164124, and licensed and regulated by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under licence OGL/2024/1562/1139. By opening an account you confirm that you have read and accepted the full terms, the privacy policy and the rules of any promotion you take part in.
1. Who can play
- You must be 18 or over, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age.
- You must not live in or play from a restricted territory. That list forms part of the full terms and can change in line with our licence.
- Players living in New Zealand are responsible for checking that the rules that apply to them here allow them to play.
- Some studios block individual games in certain countries, even where the rest of the casino is open to you.
- Using a VPN or any other tool to disguise your real location is not permitted, and accounts that do so may be closed.
- One person, one account. Duplicate accounts may be closed, with their bonuses and winnings taken away.
2. Your account
You set up an account with a username, email address, password and mobile number, or through Continue with Google. The username cannot be changed after sign-up, so pick it carefully. Your password needs at least eight characters, including a capital letter and a number. Keeping your login details safe is your responsibility, as is everything done on your account, and we suggest turning on two-factor authentication.
The information you give us must be correct and must be your own. Accounts cannot be sold, shared or run on behalf of another person. We may suspend or close an account where we find fraud, bonus abuse, collusion, automated play, chargebacks, money laundering or another breach of these terms. If we close an account for any other reason, the remaining real-money balance is returned to you.
3. Verification
Crypto play can begin as soon as you have signed up. To open payment methods beyond crypto, you complete your profile under My Account > Personal Information with your first name and surname, date of birth, mobile number, country, city and address. Our verification team may also ask at any time for proof of identity, proof of address, proof that a payment method belongs to you, or proof of where your funds come from. This most often happens before a large withdrawal or when account activity looks out of the ordinary. Withdrawals can be held until the documents are reviewed. The KYC Policy page lists what we accept.
4. Deposits
- You deposit in one of the supported cryptocurrencies, or buy crypto through the Buy Crypto option.
- When you use Buy Crypto with a card, the card is charged in New Zealand dollars, and the coins you receive are held in your balance as crypto.
- Each coin must be sent on the network you choose in the cashier. Funds sent on a different network or to the wrong address may be lost for good.
- Deposits are credited once the blockchain confirms the transaction.
- Deposits must come from wallets or payment methods under your control.
- The cashier shows the minimum deposit for each coin, and some offers have a minimum of their own.
5. Withdrawals
- You withdraw to any crypto wallet address you choose. Other payout methods depend on your country and verification status.
- Most withdrawals are processed within minutes, with a maximum processing time of 24 hours, plus any time verification needs.
- Minimum and maximum amounts per withdrawal are set for each coin and shown in the cashier.
- Weekly and monthly withdrawal limits apply. Bigger wins may be paid out in instalments.
- The blockchain's network fee applies to every withdrawal.
- A withdrawal cannot be requested while a bonus is active on your balance.
6. Crypto values
Your balance is held in cryptocurrency. What a coin is worth in New Zealand dollars, or in any other currency, changes with the market, so the local value of your balance can rise or fall between a deposit and a withdrawal, regardless of what happens in the casino. Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC follow the US dollar, so even their NZD value moves with the exchange rate. Local currency figures shown in the cashier are estimates. JackBit is not responsible for changes in market value.
7. Welcome offers and promotions
A new account can claim one welcome offer, either for the casino or for the sportsbook, on the first deposit. The amount, wagering requirement, wagering period, maximum bet and maximum withdrawal from the bonus are set by country and shown on the offer card before you activate it. The main rules that apply everywhere are:
- The offer becomes available after your first deposit and is switched on from Profile > Gifts > Bonus. You do not need to request it before depositing.
- If you would rather not use the bonus, you can ignore it and play with your own balance.
- For the casino offer, only bets on the pokies named in the rules count towards wagering.
- A bonus cannot be used together with other promotions.
- If wagering is not finished in time, the bonus and anything won with it are removed.
- You can cancel a bonus through live support, and the bonus and anything won with it are then removed.
- One welcome offer per person, household, device and payment source.
Every other promotion, from tournaments to the 3+1 FreeBet, carries its own rules on its card, and the page "Rules for all general winnings" applies to all of them. We may change, pause or end any promotion at any time.
8. Rakeback and the VIP Club
- Eligible bets earn points at the rates shown on our VIP page: 12% for casino, 14% for sportsbook and virtual sports, 3.5% for live casino and Originals, plus a Birthday Boost.
- Rakeback carries no wagering or playthrough of any kind.
- Your VIP level depends on level points, beginning with Rookie at 0 to 10K. Higher levels add boosts, a level-up bonus, VIP email access and a dedicated VIP manager.
- The value of a point and the minimum cashout are set out in the VIP Club FAQ in your account.
- We may change rates, perks or eligible games after giving notice on the site.
9. Bonus abuse
Bonuses and rewards are there for genuine play. The following count as abuse and may result in bonuses, winnings or the account being removed: running several accounts, using one IP address for several accounts, low-risk betting patterns aimed only at clearing wagering, coordinated play between accounts, and using software or scripts to place bets.
10. Games and sports betting
Game outcomes come from certified random number generators, and our Fairness and RNG Testing Methods page explains how they are checked. If a game malfunctions, the bets and payouts affected are void. Sports bets settle on the confirmed result of the event and under the rules in the Sportsbook Terms, whether that event is an All Blacks test, a Warriors match in the NRL or a Premier League fixture. Obvious mistakes in odds or market settings can lead to a bet being voided or settled at the correct price. CashOut values follow the live odds and are only offered while the market is open.
11. Responsible gambling
You can set deposit limits, take a break or self-exclude through live support, and the Self-Exclusion page explains each option. While self-excluded, you may not open a new account. Our tools, along with free New Zealand services such as the Gambling Helpline (0800 654 655), are listed on our responsible gambling page.
12. Dormant accounts
An account with no login or activity for a long stretch may be marked as dormant. Before we take any step, we try to reach you at your registered email address. Your real-money balance remains yours and can be withdrawn after the usual checks.
13. Use of this website
The text, design, logos and images on this website belong to JackBit or its licensors and may not be copied without permission. We review the information here regularly, but offers and limits change, and the terms shown in your account at the time you play are the ones that apply. Links to independent help services are there for convenience, and we are not responsible for what external sites publish.
14. Complaints
You can make a complaint through live chat or by email. A senior member of the support team looks at each complaint and replies in writing. If you are unhappy with the answer, the Dispute Resolution page sets out the next steps. Our contact page shows which details help us sort your case quickly.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for instance for new products, regulatory changes or new promotions. Significant changes are announced on the site or by email. If you carry on using your account after a change, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can close your account and withdraw your balance.
